Hi all, What are your thoughts about the thread you buy from Connecting Threads?
Hi Cathy, yes, I am talking about the essentials. Thanks for the info. I am going to order some right now.

quiltingangel are you talking about the Essential? I think that is the brand. If so, I love it for piecing. It is very reasonable & my Bernina's love it.

Connecting threads has a good sale on their Essentia threads sets now. Also the week special has fat quarter pack for $1 per fat quarter and free shipping on every order over $50.

I have been useing the connecting threads thread because when I sew anything it dosen't make a build up of fuzz on the needale and also it dosen't fray like coats and clark and you get more for the money and it has to do with the machine needles I use onlyschmetz they are the best.

I also, have found Conecting Threads doesn't build up nearly as much lint. Good stuff, reasonably priced.

I'm glad to hear that others like the thread from Connecting Threads. I have been using it, too. I have been happy with it, but as I am fairly new to quilting, I haven't tried much else for thread.

I like the Connecting Threads thread. I buy the different collections when I order from them if they are on sale. I see that they have gotten in the verigated thread collection now and I don't have that. I am not a huge fan of their fabric....they have really great looking collections but I think the fabric is a little thin for my taste but you know that I have some of it. LOL

Connecting Threads is a good place to order thread from. I use King Tut which is good but it does give a little "lint". I used C & C and it does make lint. I may try YLI and Guttermann threads next.
