Magical pillow cases
I made some pillow cases using the method and they were so simple, but turned out just great. I thought I would share this in case some one was interested. I made quite a few with novelty fabric for my grandchildren and they just love them.

Re: Magical pillow cases
I'm sorry my link didn't show up. I'll try again. She rolls her main fabric up over the border fabric and sews one seam. So when you pull it out your main, border, and accent fabric are all sewn with one seam and it is a hidden seam. It seems a little funny layering with all right sides up, but it works. I made several and this is my favorite wat to make them with finished seams.

Re: Magical pillow cases
This is a slick way of making the case. Back in the day when I made shirts for my DH which had 2 yokes, I used this method as well. And french seams can't be beat -- everything is enclosed.

OK, I'm the village idiot. I cannot visualize this. Would someone please put up picks for a tutorial?

Re: Magical pillow cases
I have tried many times to follow every direction to make a magic pillow case. I can't do it. I have to see it being done. Is there video online or dvd I can buy that shows how to make this?
