:)

((*C*)) Sure am doing great.

Mcmema, lol at your fibrocysts can get bumpy at times. I'll take it bumpy and all. At least I get to keep my bumps.

LOL, I see I am not he only one that wishes for the un-ruly posts to go away and stay down where they are.

I am telling you, when I see that things on the forum becomes melodramatic, I either have to sit on my fingers, or just take a break from the forum.

I don't need the melodramatics, I have enough of that in my own life thank you very much. LOL

So yesterday I went on a FART trip with Alina. Each of us have a VERY different taste in fabric. At one point she was helping me find some purple fabric for my sashing, and she went "Yuck, is this what you're looking for? It is purple Fairy frost"

Yes, thank you very much Alina, I'll take that yucky FF.

She (Alina) is an absolute doll though, so don't get me wrong, I just like to tease her, and she knows it.

Oh, Tul, I'll take that purple FF, too. I can't believe Alina didn't like it!!! Was it because it was purple or because it was FF?

Y'all check out the notions - I posted my binding roll on there with a couple of pix.

This weekend I will be putting that binding on my Twin Sisters quilt and/or working on my locker hooking (rug). I just ordered that Sweet Nothings pattern, a Marti Michell log cabin ruler and her "Log Cabin ABC's" book from Keepsake Quilting. Well, I'm off to locker hook and watch the debate.

Susanna - I LIKE to do bindings, and would be happy to bind Derek's quilt and then mail it to him in KY if you want me to do that! You could cross one thing off your list!

Had soup for dinner - DH isn't feeling so hot.

I'm working on table runners for gifts.

What a day the QIAD people have had!! I feel for them.

Nice to be here with you tonight!

Cindyg - that's a GREAT idea for binding!! I'm always rolling over it with my chair as I'm trying to sew it to the quilt. I'll try your idea with the next one!

Spent most of the day sewing. I am making the Morning Star quilt-for a king size bed. The star blocks are the harvest Moon fabrics with the beige background and the colored leaves. The points are made from the same fabric as the star centers. The connecting blocks will be done with orange and yellow fabric from the same collection.. The first border-that is the puzzle- I have a lovely rust-but I'm not sure I like it with the orange/yellow. I am thinking a mottled green-or a mottled light brown. The second border is a mottled brown with pumpking and tall grass things, and I had it in my stash and wanted to use it. When I started this morning I had 15 star blocks done-now I have 17 or 18. I do have the first step taken for all of the star points-and several have the second part done, and some have the corner squares and are ready to be stitched on the blocks that are half done. I am going to visit here a bit, and then it's off to practice my piano-if you hear "MY Way" and it sounds painfully slow, that's me. Have a good night!

Hey, Jennie, how are you doing?! Oct. 20th will be here before you know it! Yahoo! Hey, I just saw those old pics resurfaced, ROFLOL! My sis took pics of me on the John Deere lawnmower and then pics of she and I while I was riding the Grandmonkey's pink Bella scooter and sis on the John Deere! We're just not right! LOL! I started a new quilt for our bed today, it's the Portabella Market fabrics. I'm doing a QIAD Country Lanes pattern because I just can't bear to cut up that beautiful large scale floral and this pattern will showcase it real well. The sewing room is coming along well, but I took today off from getting the notions organized....my back went out thru this move and I got adjusted yesterday and have felt ouchy since then. So, I just took a day to quilt since my computer was down, plus I wanted to have some fun. I think this quilt is going to be pretty in there, it's in red, brown and golds.
