Hi Vicky, I'm also a questioner! Better to ask questions than wonder.
1. The skies are your choice, whatever you have to make them with or how you think they'll look good with your houses
2. No, the houses won't be wonky when we make them. The "wonkyness" comes from the sashing you add. The directions for making them wonky is with the pattern, if you want that look.
3. No they won't be decorated when we get them. We can decorate them as we want, or have no decorations, that's up to us once we get them.
4. All the houses can be different. Whatever you choose. This makes it easier to use stash fabrics. Each person will get 1 house from each other person, so you can make all different or all the same, up to you.
Hope this answers your questions. If you have others, pls post or pm me. Hope you decide to join. HUGS, carol/kittyquilt

I noticed that Abbigail's has 40 blocks in her quilt! Her quilt must be huge! How many swappers are we hoping to have to swap houses? More swappers the better for a great variety! This is going to be so fun!!
Great use for my scraps!

Okay, Donna, got you signed up. If you want to go with 20, that's fine, just let me know whenever you decide. We have plenty of time. Thanks for joining, I'll pm you my address.
Patsyann06. Right now I don't plan to limit the number who can sign up, but no one will need to make more than 20. I will just return to each person the number they made. I know that Abbigail said she made more houses herself after she got the ones from her swap. I don't know how big it is. Maybe she'll post that, hint, hint LOL <smile>.

Do I understand that the sky can be any sky type color from white to blue to pale yellow to grey?

Yes, sewcarolyn, you can make the sky whatever kind of sky you like. I think we should be a little "realistic", like the colors we see in the sky. In reality, the sky isn't always blue. So, be creative. Hope that answers your questions. And skies are different across the country and world at any given time. <smile> So all of our houses don't have to have the same color sky. I wasn't going to sign up to do any more swaps but this one is too cute and far enough out I think I can do it.

I was reading on the web site for this house block that Bonnie Hunter, the one that has that site asked for only 1 block from each that uses her free patterns, has address on there also to N.C., she stated it was for quilts in need.
So while making these why not add one extra and send them to her for the use of free patterns???
Still thinking on this one by the way, just trying to finish up UFOs first.
