Well, believe it or not, I've found 1/2 yard of red, in my stash, that I think is going to work as the transisiton border to that really dark brown outer border. It's handing on my shelving to let me stew about it before I start cutting.

How about useing the sashing color/fabric for the binding?

I like the dark brown border. I think it really makes the colors in the quilt pop. Looks great!

I opted for the red -- my 1/2 yard turned out to be only 30" wide - but it was enough. I really like the red. Thanks all.

Like the red on the inside border brings out all the colours
