Re: Wow, stippling is exhausting:)
Michelle, who is getting all these beautiful little baby quilts?! Do you have lots of fertile friends and family around, or are you donating them?
I'm just curious...our playgroup baby is now 6 months old, so we are looking to the group mommies, wondering who will be the next one to provide us with a tiny infant to snuggle...

Great quilting and Great colors. How long have you been quilting on the HQ?

OK, I'm sure these are dumb questions, but what is an "HQ"? and did you have a pattern for the stippling or was it free motion? I'm taking a (sewing) machine quilting class this month and am anxious to learn more. Yours looks great. Thanks, Kristi

Beautiful Michelle!
Thanks for always giving us the name of the fabric medley and its creator. I love looking at all the medleys on the websites and love that you let us know.
You are becoming a expert on your HQ longarm!!!!! Love seeing your little experiments. I really like the loopy ones. I've been trying to do the stippling with my regular machine and I'm finding it a little difficult. I keep going in the wrong direction and then can't get out of the corner. LOL The loops just seem to flow better.
LOL Carolj......."Fertile Friends"!

Very nice, I love the way the stripes went together. I love striped fabric, and have quite a bit that I've bought on sale over last couple years, but don't know how to use it. Yours is so nice.

Thanks everyone! Hi Kristi, sorry for the shorthand, the HQ is my Handi Quilter (HQ16) and the stippling was all done free hand. I don't use any pantographs (never learned how) or patterns. Before every quilt though, I warm up on my little wipe on/off white board I keep in my sewing room. I doodle all over it practicing loops and meanders etc. I just took a class in Nashville and a teacher told me that you need to train your muscles to do free motion quilting, it's not natural what we need to do to make these quilts look good:) And no, I don't have many fertile friends, I am making these for my Etsy shop. You guys always get the previews.LOL
