Jon's Nautical Quilt

This is my first attempt at posting a photo. I hope it works.

This is the quilt I made for my grandson Jon. I adapted it from a photo that Abbigail posted some time ago. I needed it to be larger, to fit Jon's bed. I found nautical flags on the web, and put his name in flags near the top of the quilt.

Yipee, it worked!! Do I understand correctly, that if you try to edit, the photo will disappear?

I did not do the quilting. I thought it needed something besides my usual 'stitch-in-the-ditch', so took it to a long-armer. She did a wonderful job on it!

Jon's name is in the second row, the flags. You did a great job with adapting the panel. ~Abbigail~



Here's the same panel I used but mine came in a kit and it was lap size. Not nearly as nice as Ann's!

Right! Second Row from top, separated by the light blue blocks - it spells JON HILL. He was really excited when he figured it out.
