The Feathered Goose

This is my first attempt at paper piecing. I enjoyed the process. The pattern is called The Feathered Goose by Judy Niemeyer. The quilt is 60 X 60. I will be taking to the longarm quilter this week.

The top has 1274 pieces and took me 6 weeks to piece. I enjoyed paper piecing and will do it again.

It is a gift for my brother-in-law and his wife. They like to boat and I thought this pattern had a nautical feel to it.

WOW - I'm totally blown away. This quilt is drop-dead gorgeous!!! I am SO impressed.
Update - I just made this quilt the wallpaper on my puter.
