Wow! That was a tough decision! I knew that there were a LOT of pretty blocks out there, but trying to choose just one!!! LOL I'm so excited about this swap! Can't wait to get our lists!

You are SO right about that, what block and what fabrics???? This is just so exciting, I am just busting to get my list! I have to wait until December of '09 to see my blocks! talk about anticipation!
I will just keep busy making blocks for the others and see what t hey get.

I couldn't decided so I opted for quilters choice. I can make a sampler quilt. I may be asking for directions if I like a particular block. I can't wait to get started. I don't have a very good stash and am looking forward to "having to buy new fabric" (any excuse, right ? LOL ), I may even discover new color combinations I never thought of using !!

Ruth, Quilters Choice will be such a fun surprise! I know of one girl who chose Quilters Choice for a birthday swap, but she specified a particular color combination. I think she got a really neat variety of blocks-- even some appliqued ones. It will be fun to see what you end up with!

I will also have to wait until 12/09 to see mine...I put down...any Star block design you want to make. I couldn't decide either I put down color choice though so I will get a variety of star blocks using a color scheme

Carolyn, The Star block design is a great idea! What a pretty quilt that will make!

My birthday is in February. I know that I'll be making my blocks in advance-- I can't wait until December! I'll probably wait to mail them, but I will want to have them ready to go...
