WeSignificant, sorry if my post was confusing. By now you should have an email of updates. I sent it out about 8:00 tonight, Wednesday. If you don't have it, let me know and I'll re-send, but it didn't come back to me, so I think it's either there or on it's way. HUGS< carol/kittyquilt

SharonG/FL, That is a beautiful quilt. There is confusion about "whether the 9-patch is tossed or disappears"! <smile>. Seems that the same thing is called by both names. I don't think we need specific placement of colors, SuZQ just said Blue and yellow colors.

SuZQ, if you have a specific placement desire, please post here.

DJ, that ladder block is beautiful and makes up into a very beautiful quilt.

Can't you all just see the beautifl quilts that are going to come from this swap! And we'll get to see over 50 different quilts! (seeing all 4 groups).

HUGS to everyone, carol/kittyquilt

Just so everyone in Group 3 & 4 see, I'm making a separate post. I sent out the updates at about 8:00 pm Eastern time. If you don't get the email, pls let me know. Have fun, remember, if you have questions on a block, you can email that person or me for help.

update on this post: OOOPPPSSS, GROUP 4, please note on the update I emailed you, I did not "made the changes red" for 2 members:

for momof6quilts, her city/state/ZIP should be in red--that has been added.

for CraftinDJ, the block site should be in red, that is a correction, the first lists said "Jacobs ladder" It should have been FourPatchLadder.

Just to confuse you more!!!! Seriously, I just wanted to make sure everyone knows what the changes were. Guess I'm tired and my fingers aren't obeying what they're told--they forgot to click the red button!

HUGS, have a wonderful sewing day tomorrow. carol/kittyquilt

ENJOY, carol/kittyquilt

P.S. I know you've already figured it out, but I just needed to "cover ..................." LOL <smile>

Hello everyone! I was going through my notes for the Group #4 "Block Busters". This will look silly to you... but I'm loosing my English. I'm turning red (being shy to ask this...) but can someone tell me what is "unbleached muslin"?? what color it is?? I surely know the meaning in French... but having a blank... Thanks!

Denise, don't be shy. It is a very reasonable question. Anyway, unbleached muslin is a sort of light tan/beige/ecru color. We buy it here in US by just asking for unbleached muslin. It is frequently used as a background fabric. A number of different fabric companies make it. It is 100 percent cotton.
If this doesn't answer your question, maybe someone else can explain better or you can pm me and I'll try again.

Guess I should have checked here before I sent you a PM I see my name back on the list and looks like the same people I got the list for in the first place. Glad it's the same because I have already bought material. You can tell I am a newbie, I didn't know things could change. How silly of me

Sandy, Now I am REALLY confused. There must be an elfin in this section or someone is trying to play a funny!!!!!!!!
Actually I am the only one who can edit the list and I haven't done that!
No one except the one who first posted the post can change it. Oh my. There must have been some kind of snafu when you saw the lists changed. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for bringing it up.

Kittyquilt,
I was just looking at the lists and realized you are not on either group 3 or 4... did you take yourself off the list or are you on the other groups list... because if you arent on a list, I vote you add yourself to a list as I am sure everyone would be happy to do a block for you as well!!
