August Secret Pal

This is the first time I haven't gotten one :O( I was hoping that it was just mailed late in August but I am starting to wonder if I was forgotten :O(

It's not the gift that is important. It's the fact that you signed up for something and did not meet your obligation. I know things happen but the least you could do is let your SP know.

Loretta I agree that if for some reason the person couldn't get it out that they should at least PM the SP and let them know that they had an issue or something. I am not worried about the "stuff" but it would be good to know its not lost in the mail or something

As I see, lots didn't received their gift for August also! I know how you feel, I still haven't received anything for July, like many others!

I had withdraw my name from the list in July, after receiving my Secret Pal's name, cause I have too many things that are taking lots of my time. Eventhough I had no time to do it, and had already received my Secret Pal's name, I had kept her, had respected my engagement and mailed my package in time. I know that my July Secret Pal had received the gifts I've sent her. I had Judithlucille's as Secret Pal.

I'm not participating to the Secret Pal till may be late fall. My name is not on the list until I'll advise CindyB to put it back again.

May I just say to everyone who are participating and know they will be late to mail for some reason, should at least advise her/his Secret Pal... If they know they cannot do it, they should advise CindyB prior to the 1st of the month to have their names removed from the list. In that way, nobody will wait for nothing and nobody will be disappointed.

That's my opinion and my ways to see things!

Thank you so much for my wonderful secret pal package. The charm bracelet is such a nice gift, I really appreciate it. The red fabric is in my red stash and will be making its way into a quilt soon. I am a post-it nut but do not have any post-it note cards, I'm sure I will use them! You went above and beyond, thanks again!! Thelma

Oh! I got my secret pal gift today! And yes! It was worth the wait! First I found the GoGreen bag from Joann's with my name embrodieried (sp) on it! That was such a good idea to do that. I wondered too if the stores would think you had just picked up a bag and was keeping it! LOL! Wow! It's big too! More room for fabric!!! 2 fat quarters in brown, my favorite color and a half yard cut of such a beautiful cream fabric with butterflies on it. It has little shiny specks in it too! Some bias tape in a pretty yellow floral. You must know how much trouble I have making that stuff! LOL! 3 wonderful counted cross stitch booklets. I didn't know all of the state flowers but I do now. Some beautiful irises in that booklet too. You must have known I would go straight to that page because that where you hid your note! 2 different styles of finger guards, some in between quilting needles, a great bic pen and something I had never seen before. A Tool Taxi....a 6 in 1 craft tool. It looks pretty darn handy! It has an embossing stylus, tweezers, cutting blade, rub on stylus,an adhesive & rub on remover and a acid free glue reservoir. How cool! I can see where that would come in real handy! I bet you all are wondering who my great pal is! It's Itchn2BStitchin!! Girl I love it all and thank you so much! Hugs, Brenda ~Abbigail~
