Pastel Party Swap Quilt :o)

Post by quilterbee » Tue Jul 29, 2008 7:23 am

The blocks are from DJ's Pastel Party Block Swap last month. The quilt is 55" x 84", with only 4 extra blocks made by me.

I love it! Amie -----PS- I always do my own quilting :o)

Wow, I should have signed up for that swap. So soft looking. Amie, did you do the quilting? Perfect quilt for a little girl or new baby.

I quilted it on my frame, just a meander and then into the hot washer and dryer! I love the soft crinkly look, like it's old. Sometimes, I'll lay them out in the sun and let the colors fade a little. Thankyou for your nice comments :o) Amie

Ohhhhhhhhh Amie that is gorgeous. You are soooo right, it is so soft. I am using that block for something else I am doing. It looks great in other fabrics as well.

That is so soft & pretty looking! I love it too! It would make a really wonderful baby quilt and it looks like it was a quick & easy pattern to put together. And Amie, I really admire how quickly you put your swaps together! I wish I was more like you in that way. :)Thanks for sharing!
