Secret Santa!

I know it's early.... tho I know a lot of you are already planning and working on your Christmas Gifts for this year.

For you newer gals, we did a Secret Santa Exchange last year and it went kind of like this....

Interested particpants sent me, by PM, their names, addresses and a little info about their favorite colors, fabrics, candies, collections etc. Just some background info. I compiled all the info then drew names and matched up everybody 1-1. It was LOTS of fun and I'd love to do it again this year.

I'll gladly accept any and all suggestions to make it another great year at QIAD forum.

I'll post more details later....What say by September 1st? That will give everybody lots of time. AND if for some reason someone has to bow out, we'll have time to rearrange etc. This will take a commitment, but and often happens.... things come up, things change, and more important things like family and friends and health come up that we just need to take time for.

I want everybody to have a good time with this. But I don't want anybody to feel stressed and overwhelmed etc etc. This is for FUN!!!!!

Just a suggestion for thought.
Let's set the "Opening Date" early so that we can take advantage of sending things first class or parcel postor media rate for less postage cost. If we know the date, we can start planning to target that date as arrival date, since parcel post or media rate takes about two weeks to go most places. (I don't mean the date should be early, just the announcement/selection of the date.) Then we could check our post offices and get the particulars on those ways of sending. (Method to my madness: we can spend more on what's inside the box if we don't have to spend so much on getting the box where it needs to go.LOL) carol/cittyquilt
