Caroline, glad to hear you're staying :-) For the printer, I've printed mine at 98% (default setting of the printer).

SewSew - thanks for your comment. I am referring others to that swap topic to see your sample block as a guide for the color to aim for. It worked well there, so let's do the same thing here.

We are talking about the sashing used with each block, NOT the darker browns for the curio cabinet itself.

Thanks to all who have added their comments, and it is clear that there is room for everyone :)

Hugs to all.

Caroline, I'm sorry, but I don't know what kind of printer you have. I can't tell where to go to change it. Don't you have a user's manual that goes with your printer?

Caroline, normally when I print a PDF File, I just print it as it appears. The paper pattern I printed out for the saucer, for example, fits very well when placed on the 10 1/2 " unfinished block.

Perhaps you could try doing that with yours and see how it looks.
It would give you some perspective.

Still working on making it clearer.

Anyone else have a suggestion?

Hang in there.

Caroline
Would you like me to print it and mail you the Saucer and your cup? I am sure I can do that for you.

SewSew I just looked at the medium brown sashing on the coffee pot. Thank you, I have not yet purchased the medium brown and this will make it easier!

I just looked at the fabric on QIAD site. I looked in Quilt Shop Fabrics, All Mfg, Brown, All typyes and saw two possibilities. One is a Michael Miller #rfabric4254; it is $8.59/yd. The other is Norcott rfabric4027 on sale for $6.82. Anybody want to look and see which one they like?

Caroline - on the page you want to print in the PDF file
Click on the picture of the printer
Go to Page Scaling - click on the arrow, you want to choose - NONE - this should print your pattern at 100%
