Here in SW Pa, our gas is $3.93...We shop at a store that gives gas credit for every $10.00 and that helps alittle..We have a Chevrolet Malibu and we're trying to cut down on trips but delivering Meals on Wheels sure empties the tank....We have been thinking about getting a smaller, better gas efficient car, but haven't really looked yet...

I paid $3.93 tonight to fill it up....$41 total....I have a 2007 Saturn ION, which I love (except for the payments on it). My commute is 17 miles each way, so I try to stretch out the gas for two weeks, but usually don't make it that long. Definitely do more than one errand at a time, especially cause we live in the country.

Meijers has a meijer credit card with 10cents off each gallon. I use that when I am close. It was 3.99 on Thursday. Locally it is $.03off at Wal-mart. I have a 2000 beetle VW and it goes good. The van is a little more. But, a full fill for the van is close to 70.00 when it is really empty. The mileage is good when I keep it at 58 miles per hour. The Beetle has 106,000 miles on it. So, it should go another 50,000 at least. My husband does all of our service work, and that really saves a bundle also.
Right now we are busy spliting wood for the winter. We need or use about 40 cord each winter. That is the length of a football field, and as wide as your arms can reach out, and as high as my nose. LOL It is alot of wood and alot of exercise. But, it is that or pay about $2,000 for an oil fill for the furnace. It is really bad when fuel costs more than our food for the week.

Gas here is $3.93. last time I filled up it was about $45.00 I drive a Subaru Forester and I think I might just get a full week and maybe another day or two of driving to work on that tank. I drive 18 miles one way. I used to drive 1 mile to work, now I drive 18....what was I think to change jobs!!! Nice thing about the new job is I don't have to work weekends!!!

We have been paying $4.59/gal here. It finally came down to $4.49. In San Diego our gas prices are always higher than Orange County and Los Angeles. Most of our gas stations here are corporate owned. We have very few independents so there is never a price war. Wish we would start drilling and stop depending so much on foreign oil.

Re: What are you paying for GAS???!!!???
Today I paid $3.95/gal and paid $40.00 and my tank wasn't empty. I'm glad I don't have to go out to work. My DH drives for his work & he is putting $100.00 in the tank every time he fills up which is about 3 times in 2 weeks. That is if we don't do much running for home in his van!!!
I remember my mother making the statement, "Gas will NEVER go over a buck a gallon!!" Lots of years ago!!! ROFLOL.....

DS#2 thought he was getting a deal at $3.94 a gal. this morning on the other side of town. He puts 99% of his gas in his little Nissan. DS#1 puts gas in his Explorer, not sure of his price if he gets gas in Raleigh. I just put 75 in mine, 4.01 Thursday night. Didn't fill it and it wasn't empty! We really don't waste, we try to combine all trips to town. We live out in the country too. Somebody is getting loaded, but it ain't me!
