I'd like to get everyone's opinion...
I have the pinwheel pattern. I was planning to make 5 different pinwheels per person, but I started to wonder: should I do each single pinwheel with one green fabric and one red fabric, or should I use eight different fabrics - 4 red and 4 green for each block? Or two greens and two reds and alternate? I guess it comes down to scrappy or not scrappy?

What do the rest of you have in mind? Are you using several fabrics per block or keeping to basically the same red, green, and white for each block? Just curious.

I like scrappy - but it is your choice.

Donna, I know I'm not going to be much help here, I like either one. Sorry to be so ambigious (it's awful early to be using big words!) My original attraction is for scrappy, however since we are making so many, it might be easier to make non-scrappy.

I haven't decided how I'm going to do mine yet either, so I'm in the same boat as you. If I have to be honest, I'll probably do scrappy stars and Old Maid's Puzzle, that way I HAVE to buy more fabric and that would just be awful!!! SMILE!

The more I think about it (and I think way to much!), I think I will make 2 per person that use only one red and one green each, and make the other 3 scrappy, and you can alternate them in your quilt. Unless I think some more and change my mind. ;o)

Well I finally finished 5 blocks.....only 20 to go!!! These have been a real pain in the you know what!!! The seams were too thick so the only way they would lay flat was to press the seams open....which to me is a real pain!! I'll sure be glad when I get them done!! :o)

Anyone, due to the circumstances surrounding DJ, does anyone know what the status is of this swap? Just curious. Thanks!

DJ, if you have any problems and want to farm this one out to someone, I'm willing to have people mail them to me and I'll sort and mail them back out. Just let us know what you want to do.

Just a question in light of all that is happening.....I have about 11 of 25 Dutchman Puzzle's done and everything cut out ....

Should I continue making them? Are we doing this?

DJ if you need help, please let us know. I am sure that we will all pitch in and do whatever we can.

Thanks,
Deb
