Re: Sew-in for the 11th?
I have been off work today and feel really accomplished. I have finished a black and white Yellow Brick Road quilt in queen size and the 5th block for the mystery sampler. I am now washing fabrics to start some Christmas gifts.
Hope all of you have fun tonight.

Sure, I'll come and play. I'm a bit crabby today. Very very tired/sleepy. Everything takes WAY too long to do. I hope Jeff can give me a shower tonight.

Hi All,
I'm here. Just finished homemade pizza. My side was all veggie, yummy! Watching the Detroit Tigers baseball game & I'm thinking ice cream now....
I spent several hours machine quilting my monster. I can only work for so long before my wrists, shoulder start to protest. Then I must stop.
What are you guys working on?
Now, about that ice cream.....
XOXO

Weeeell, I got the machine quilting done on my Summer Porch quilt. It's not gonna win any ribbons at the fair, but for a first MQing project, it doesn't look too bad. It was really tiring to MQ. Now I know why someone here once referred to this process as "Sit and Shove". Dang! By the dinner hour, I was bloody knackered!
I *really like* the YLI variegated thread; it added a real pretty touch to the top; I had a neutral grey in the bobbin that blended nicely with the "Pastel" thread color. Remembered to loosen the top thread so no bobbin is peeking through.
I was sitting and sewing the binding strips to the top and wanted to pop in to see if anyone was lurking about. I'll warn you...I have had some whiskey and am definitely feeling no pain at the moment...LOL!
