DJ, the butterflies are gorgeous, thanks for the suggestion. I only hate to cut the hankies in half, they are all so dainty. This will be an ongoing project for me. Both of my daughters will want a quilt like this!

DebbieLynn, I am so glad everything arrived safely! I was so afraid of the teacups and saucers since they were fragile to begin with. I saw them at a local flea market and just had to get them! The hankies also came from the same flea market. It was one of those days when I found everything I was looking for!
Some days at the market there is nothing.
Enjoy your gifts!

DEb;
Thank you soooo much, I loved the surprise package! It is amazing, I had borrowed that book on Hankies from a friend just last month, and she needed it back so I really did not want to let it go, but now I have my own. Thank you again! The teacups are in my curio cabinet and I have already had loads of compliments on them, they are displayed with 2 of the hankies that I could not put in my stash for the butterfly quilt.
I was skeptical about joining in on the swaps, but have found that the folks here are very caring and helpful. I have already signed up for more of the swaps. It feels like I have made lots of friends here!
Thanks again;
Hugs to you, from one Debbie to another!

Re: Surprise your Partner Summer Exchange - Is finished!
A very special thank you to Bea in WA for my lovely summer surprise! Although I love my job I came home today after work and groceries and felt a little tired. Perfect day to receive a special package!
I love the book of 10 patterns for making/knitting dishclothes. I have all the supplies on hand and have been hoping to make some for Christmas. It was on my list of things to do - "find dishcloth pattern".
I wish my camera had battery power so I could show off this wicked cool crocheted trivet. Bea said it's 'easy to make' but it sure looks complex. It's very thick and full of pastels, white with a hint of medium pink. I love the combination.
Thanks to Bea I now have a very small, wooden bottle to hold needles and a fabric marker. One side marks, the other erases. I know they'll be handy.
I loved the FQs. 3 great prints in B&W. I'm on a bit of a B&W craze right now. Those FQs will be put to use.
And most importantly I rec'd a very cool keychain, one I'd never seen before. It has 4 circles and each has a word in it. I - AM - THE - CURE. The circles show the sizes of lumps found by self-breast exam and mammograms. I'm not explaining it properly but trust me it was an eye opener. Check out www.iamthecure.org to learn more.
Thank you again Bea. I would have PMed you as well but I didn't see your forum name in the get-to-know-you letter you sent. I enjoyed learning more about you from your letter.

Re: Surprise your Partner Summer Exchange - Is finished!
To the person waaaay to the east of me who is still waiting for a summer surprise package: it's in the mail! I can manage to stare at things that need to mailed for days before I remember to take the package with me and stop at the post office. Well, I finally made it to the PO today and mailed a priority package to xxxxxxxx. It should get there Tuesday or Wednesday (I hope). (Of course, I forgot to take the bills with me to mail at the post office...) I'm sorry for taking almost all summer, but someone is about to get a surprise!

Donna - you crazy lady - I received my Summer Surprise and the July SP present. I was so surprised about the SP present. You didn't have to send one for the one I didn't get - that was really nice of you. I will try to take a half decent picture with my cell phone and post it tomorrow. Of course, the DGSs got to the milky ways and tried to eat my Chocolate and Toffee chex mix. I convinced them it was my present and I would SHARE but not give it all to them. Luved all the fabric - just all of them. The butterfly stain glass coloring book was great - can use some of them as patterns for quilting. Did not have a note pad or a shopping list pad so they were perfect. And just luv luv luv my rooster pot holder that you made. No, I didn't mention the Twix candy bars - hide them in my drawer:o)

Dawne,
I received your package today. Camera batteries are recharging for a wedding tomorrow so no picture.
I received 4 blue fat quarters in polka dots, strips and two spotted (I loved the spotted ones!!!) There was a sunflower dish cloth a measuring gauge and a mini pot holder for the microwave and as I don't have a microwave I believe it will be just the thing to lift the lid on the canner!
Thank you so much,
Vicky
OOPS, I forgot to mention the Tea. I also got some African tea that I can't wait to try. It's too hot to try it today.
