Sarah,
When the kids were still home, I always had a rule on Mother's Day that nobody was allowed to say "Mom". That was my present to myself...just one day of peace. They could talk to me but they were not allowed to call to me from some place in the house and say Mmmmmmmooooooooooommmmmmm! It is amazing what one day of peace will do for you.

OK, I have a question. I'm on eastern time and an owl. I usually don't go to before 1 or 2 am. (That's 10 or 11 pm on the left coast.)
How early do you gals fo to bed? I'd hate to be here talking to myself. I do that enough anyway.

Well, Father's Day is now officially over in the Ansell household for 2008! We had a wonderful day visiting with my inlaws and everyone ate way too much!

Trying to get this mini-magnet finished up. I think the binding is just a mitered corner binding, at least that is what I'm going to do. I wanted to put a little loop in the top corner to hang it by, but I don't think there will be enough fabric left over and I didn't figure out a way to incorporate into the binding -- I'll have to work on that. But it turned out pretty cute and I'm sure my DD will love it.

Rosie, I'm up most nights till about 1 am (pst), so you won't be alone. BTW, my little 3 yr filly's name is Sierra Mooonrose -- We call her Rosie (after a very dear friend of mine) for short. Happy trails, jac

well it got a little nutty...about 20 minutes before we left for dinner another one of my Girl Scouts called with questions regarding Gold Award paperwork...she decided to fill out the forms today I didn't think she was going to do it this time around, nor did she until she talked to the girl I worked with the other day. All of her paperwork has to be in by 6 pm on Tuesday.....She had to get her plan together and need to get everything signed off by me...
This is a huge undertaking since the whole project has to be carried out by the girl alone. I know she will get the paperwork done..she works well under pressure :)and then she has until Sept 30th of 2010 to finish it...
The 2 girls are going to Mexico to work in an orphanage. One is planning on developing an art program and the other a library expansion. cool....
