Post by 9patchfav » Sun Jun 22, 2008 12:57 am

Good Morning!!!

How are you doing? How's your weather? How's your health? Family, friends? Quilting?

I am a very earlier bird, that is why I have this going at 6:55. I have been up since 4:45 this morning. Bummer that everyone else is asleep, well DS2 and DS3 are gone to work already.

Let me know if I don't need to start this!!!!

Dog is chasing the chickens....gotta go stop him.

Hugs and Prayers for you all,
Susan

Good Morning forum friends...it's off to church this morning and then back to the sewing machine. I've got three quilts going at the same time! When I get bored working on one I switch to another. I know, I'm weird. Hope we get some rain, as the ground in the pastures has large cracks! Don't want the horses breaking any legs! Chickens are squawking, gotta run. Hope all of you have a restful day.

Good morning from a west coast early bird...it's just 0500 here, I have been up for about half an hour already. My coffee is here, the house is quiet and I can sit and think my thoughts.

The high temp yesterday here was 101F...pretty miserable, and unusual for this time of year. Guess Lady Summer decided to come in with a bang, or more like a SIZZLE. Weather-dot-com site projects a high of 91 today, so still hot but not quite as brutal. I already have doors open and fans running to cool the house as much as possible before we have to shut everything down to keep out the heat.

No sewing for me, another day at work. Nothing going tomorrow so hoping to get some play time in with my walking foot,

Everyone drink plenty of water and take it easy during these hot days! Don't want anyone collapsing at their longarms! LOL

Off to church, then a walk if it's not too hot already, then SEW, SEW, SEW!! I'm making progress in the sewing room and that feels SO GOOD!

Have a great day, ALL!

Hello earlybirds! I slept in late today (6:30am) and have just finished my first cup of coffee and catching up on the chit chat from yesterday. I had a busy day yesterday sewing up some baby shower gifts for my niece and managed to get them all done in plenty of time to drop them off at 5:00.

Today is starting off slow, thank God.LOL I have a couple of projects to get working on and swap blocks to finish up, so I have plenty of sewing to do today. I first need to straighten up my sewing room a bit, after yesterdays sewing frenzy it needs it.

Good Morning Every one!

Looks like another beautiful day here in MN. From my office window I don't see a cloud in the sky!

A few more chores to do from my list today, then it's back to the sewing machine. Want to finish the noodle apron I started yesterday and perhaps see if I can whip up another pillowcase or two.

Found out yesterday that my sis in probably NOT going to go to the cabin over the 4th--so I'll have the place to myself. Started my list of things to bring up there so I can spend the weekend sewing. She thinks I'm crazy for going up there to sew, but my theory is--what better place! To sit and sew watching the lake and be uninterupted by house chores. It's HEAVEN!

Hope everybody has a truly wonderful day!

Good morning everyone. I'm off to church and then I think we are going to try to get a few things done outside if it is not too hot.

I hope to get back to doing some sewing tomorrow, we will see.

Have a wonderful day all!!!!

Good morning everyone. Thankfully the heat broke here in San Francisco and it's back to normal -foggy and cold. LOL I'll be able to get some sewing done. We woke up to the smell of smoke. Apparently there are 400 fires burning as of today in California and the National Guard is being called in to help. We can smell the Napa and San Jose fires. It's so devastating to see the damage on the news. Prayers go out to everyone in the path of fire.
