Those pictures are wonderful! Thanks for sharing.
You need to enlarge that picture of the 3 of you wearing boa's and tiara's, frame it and hang it in your "Quilt Studio"!

I'm just getting red x's too. Can anyone tell me what is up with that. I get all the other pictures on the site. Seems there are just a couple of us that are not getting the pictures.

I think all that hard work you women (and grandmonkey) got up to just tired out your poor ole dog! LOL
Lovely quilt. Looks like one my friend just made. What pattern?
I think the next quilt retreat should be at your cabin! LOL

Oh, I spy a Moda charms pack disguised as a Tossed Nine Patch! (I bought the same nickel packs at the retreat in May.) Yours looks great! I like the aqua blue accents.
I was lazy and just stitched all the charms together without cutting them up, put on light sage green and rosy pink borders. If I can ever get the blasted walking foot to work, I may actually get it quilted!

Thanks, Pam, for posting these pix. You all are just beautiful. Looks like you had a really good time that week and you have made memories, great ones, for your Grandmonkey. Fifty years from now she'll be on a forum telling about how she use to go to her grandmother's cabin and quilt with her. How special is that? I noticed she was ironing monkey fabric. What quilt is that for?

Ahhh, Pam1
Thank you for sharing your lovely photos with us. I must say, you are so truly blessed to have such a sweet, loving family, & be able to spend time together like this! I know you know this, but had to say it anyway, as you well know, not all of us are this fortunate. Thanks again for sharing with us, loved the wedding pics too!
Hugs!

Oh Pam - great pictures. My DGSs call me Mimi. It was suppose to be Grammie but Joshua-Tyler just kept saying Mimi and as you say it stuck. I am so forward to teaching both Joshua-Tyler and Michael how to quilt. My grandmother was the only quilter in the family and when she passed I decided to carry on her craft.
You are so lucky to have your Mom and your DGD to share your craft. I pray that you have many more years of fun "sew-in" days.

What fun! You all look happy. I know you had a great time together. The sewing room looks great! Love all those fabrics that are folded on the shelves. The little granddaughter is so cute! Is she sewing now? Love your quilts!!
