Thanks for the compliments on the tote. Sadiedaisy, the mug mat is just a 6" block, I layed the batting down sprinkled some cinnamon on top, put the block right side up and the backing right side down, Sewed around leaving a small opening to turn. Trimed and turned. Then topstitched.

OK, my tote is on the way, sorry for the delay. I won't try to make any excuses, just me being an airhead.... first got the date wrong in my head and then lost the addy.
But you likely know who you are, so if you are inclined to peek, here is where a picture is.

This was my first time doing flying geese, and I used this new ruler, the kind where you cut 4 small squares and 1 large one. Really great way to do it. Don't know if you can see the inner 'goose' pocket in the photo, for dropping you keys or change in.

Lisa;
Your tote was wonderful, the applique pocket was an amazing finishing touch, and the inside pockets -- you can never have enough of them..
I had been wanting to make some of the mug mats, thanks for informing us on how to do that. Did you just use the regular cinnamon powder in them? Terrific job!!

Lisa your bag came out really great, I love the applique pocket and the scented mug mat is so cute. Dj, your phone picture really shows off the colors wonderfully.

Sue I tried the link but it doesn't open up.
