I have read and reread the directions but feel I would be much better off if I had some tips from those of you that have made this quilt. I read that Cindy had posted suggestions concerning the quilt but I can't find the thread. I would appreciate any help you can give.
Thank you,

Re: Quick Quilt Trip
Judy,
I did the quick trip. It was not hard at all. Someone posted a suggestion that I copy the instructions from the book and highlight them as I worked. That was a great suggestion. I made the 'United We Stand' quilt on page 15. Once you get started you will love it.
Have fun, take your time and ENJOY!
Hugs, Kathy

Just go for it! If your really worried, use some WallyWorld fabric and see how things go. I bet you do just fine
) I haven't made it yet and I'm not even a newbie. If you do one, so will I. How's that sound? Amie ;OD

Re: Quick Quilt Trip
Judy - I think it was me who suggested copying the instructions then marking with a highlighter the completed steps as you go. I do this so that I don't leave a step out. Also helps when you have to leave the project for a while - when you come back to it you know right where you left off. It's worth the tiny bit of extra time to do this for me - who suffers from CRS.
I have make the Trip quilt but it's been, let's see, OMG 10 yrs. ago. I don't remember much about it now so, I'm sorry, I'm not much help.

Re: Quick Quilt Trip
Thank you for the suggestions and support. I am ready to start. I am in the process of completing a sampler. It is a large king and I have hand quilted all but four squares. Just finished piecing a queen double Irish Chain. I enjoy hand quilting but I am now falling behind. Guess I may machine quilt the Quick Quilt. Thank you Cindy for the suggestion, I can see where it would keep you organized. Kathy, I viewed your quilt in the photos and it is outstanding.

Re: Quick Quilt Trip
Judy, I love making this quilt pattern and just finished 2 baby quilts and am working on the third. Once you get it, you will fly through piecing it. It is fun and goes so fast. I love all the different results you can get just by changing the order of the fabrics.
Have fun with it and don't over think it. I promise, you will love it!
