Oh, no, Sharon!!! That's right, thanks so much for the reminder.
I also wanted to add that I have been known to send old (the older the better) quilt magazines.....
I sent Sharon a package one month, and enclosed a magazine that I had that had six or eight Arizona blocks... she loved it! It was a 1980's magazine. . . .no websites listed. . . free motion quilting on a home machine was just starting. . . .I can't remember all the changes that have happened in 20 or so years!
But, some things were still the same, which was cool!

wonderful ideas! I forgot about the chocolate too
old magazines are a great idea. I just recently started buying magazines so old ones would be a treasure.

I don't normally buy candy for myself, so as long as it doesn't melt all over anything else, it's okay with me.LOL I figure if you are worried you can just put the candy in a ziplock bag, the recepient can always put it in the freezer for a couple of minutes.LOL

M&Ms seem to tolerate the heat best (unless they get smashed). Of course there are chocolate cookies...

Ann, what a great idea to make this list and everyone has such wonderful ideas.
I would love old magazines or even fabric no one wants anymore.... I have thought about sending fabric from my stash but haven't because it has been washed and didn't want to send anything used.... what do you all think about pre-washed fabric?

Chriss, I think sending fabric from your stash is perfectly fine. I would add a note telling the recepient that it is already washed like we do in our swaps. I really don't expect and do not want anyone going out of their way to purchase something when they have a great stash to choose from. Remember the hints are just that to guide in color choices or other interests.
