My 8" squares are bigger than a true 8" square. I wanted to be sure that everyone had a little extra in case I messed up a bit when cutting.

I just found the most gorgeous Batiks with palm leaves at E-Quilter.

Ann, can you give us a little hint as to the predominant colors that are being used. I'm pretty sure I'm going to do an attic window pattern and I want to use something "palmy" but I need to do a dark and a light fabric.

Linda, do you want to know background color or the design color. If it is background, the majority are in the biege range but there are a few that have a black background or blue. As far as colors in the designs it is really difficult to pick out any one or even two predominent colors. There are lots of reds, blues, green and golden yellow with touches of tan and brown. I am sorry if this is not much help but it seams that beach theme fabrics just come in all colors and designs.
