Friday June 6th Sew In

Post by Quilter7 » Fri Jun 06, 2008 7:25 am

What are you doing today?

I just finished the second batch of boysenberry preserves this week and have taken my car for new brakes. The laundry is started and I need to clean house, hope to start quilting later.

I'm trying to get ready to go to my daughters for the weekend. I cannot leave until late tonight though so will be driving late. ((sigh))

Hi Carol, CarIn and PQ-grandma.

I Love love this weather. Low 70's, sunny clear skies. Wish I had the patience to lay out in the sun for a while. I woke up to a LOT of noises in the park next door. *HAPPY* noises from children. Guess school is official out and summer has started?

I still have my errands to run and send my fabrics in the mail. One of them is my 'Uggie' fabrics.

Jeff arrived safely in Oslo. It is nice and sunny there also, even warmer then here with temps in the low 80's.

I'll be slaving away on my 'Uncle Sam' block. I doubled it size, and would like to created, piece and sew an US flag as backing.

I hope to receive my QIAD package today, it has Victory fabrics in it. And my 6x12 rulers. I looked at my e-mail from them, and by accident I ordered two instead of one.

Yes Carin your Angel IS very adorable.
I am getting SO excited to get All of the Angel blocks in so the construction of this quilt can begin.

I will have to hang all of them on my 'design' wall, hoping that some of you will help me with directions and advise what to do for sashings and borders.

Susanna - I just read what you ate yesterday! You really do need to eat better. LOL Are you drinking water? Let's see isn't it supposed to be: five servings of fruit and vegetables, two servings of protein, two servings of milk and four servings of whole grains. What have you been eating today??

I care about you and do not want to see you getting sick.

LOL Yes Mama......

As a matter of fact I have not eaten anything else today yet.

I was just thinking maybe I'll go and eat some sushi. That's healthy yes?

BRB, Jeff is on-line.

Hi Gardenquilter. Hope you get to slow down and do some projects you like to do.

Jeff just popped on-line and send a few pictures over from Oslo. LOL, one of Burger King, and also one of Star Bucks. Duhhhh.....

Also talked to him on the phone. He sounds pretty tired. They stayed awake today (helps to get switched over to their time) and they went to Down Town Oslo for food and drinks. Yup, they had to take the bus there which took about 20 min.

This weekend they're still off from work and there is a Mideival festifal in Oslo this weekend. I hope they'll go there.

Men can sound so grumpy when they're tired.

Off I go for a bite of Sushi.
