Dawne... the block is called Mr. Roosevelt's Tie...

Gmann... it is an amazing book... I think it is my favorite of hers so far... being a military family, I love all the history Eleanor put into the book and how the blocks all have a story. I was lucky enough to see her USO show during her demo day at the store... I fell in love with all the blocks then and there... and now I have the book... woohoo!!!

Carolyn... I get my sewing in around my little guys... like while they are eating I will go sneak a block in... and when Kyle takes his nap I have a bit of time since Jake is usually done with his homeschool by then... we all get quiet time... and then of course I tend to be up waaaaaayyyy to late and my dark bags under my eyes can attest to that... but I am doing better about getting to bed earlier...

Thanks everyone for your nice comments... all your encouragement and nice comments are what keep me going and keep me enthusiastic with my sewing!!! You all are AMAZING!!!

Cheers!

Littlebit... I had a bit of help this weekend so I got more accomplished than usual... My Dh took the boys out of the house both Saturday and Sunday... and kept them out for a long while... so I got a bunch done... I would have gotten more sewing done but I figured the laundry needed to be done, and I even got a few boxes packed up for our upcoming move!

Cheers!
