Linda there come a time when things do happend and there nothing anyone can do about it. What make a diffent when they do come half time nobody get to their swaps till next year. My first swap that i join back in Aug 07 i did not get to it till April of this year. On this forum we dont rush anyone When you rush into something it seem something does go wrong. Carolyn has been so busy with alot beside you dont know what pplmdo outside of this forum. We are not like the other forums. Life is to short to get upset over noodles and other swaps. Sarah

This is a happy laid back group for the most part, we just get them back when we get them back. It's OK. The swaps are ususally just a little bit behind, no big deal. It's always exciting to get them when ever they come. Amie

If I started something, I do apologize. I have a very sick husband, a sister who was just diagnosed with cancer, and I go back to school in 2 weeks and have no idea what is ahead of me (us) with everything that is happening. I look forward to getting the goodies, whenever they come. No big rush, just venting a little and looking forward to something fun for a change.

Delivery confirmation doesn't really help if your package is lost or anything. And shipping priority mail isn't any guarantee about it getting there within the 2 to 3 days that they say it will.
I shipped a package last Tuesday by priority mail. With delivery confirmation. I've tracked it as far as Warrendale PA. It hasn't made it to the recipient yet. 6 days today & still counting.

Linda-isn't that aggravating!!! The noodles aren't as upsetting to me as the Civil War blocks that I labored over were sent from the same postal annex the same day and they haven't arrived to DJ yet. I finished re-cutting Christmas Noodles and am putting them in baggies now. Mary I will tuck them in with your other noodles and send them off. I am then coming home and re-making the blocks for the other swap. which includes 120 half-square triangles!!!

That is great news Mary!
Oh Carolyn, to lose the civil war blocks OMG! I sure hope they show up for you. Maybe you should try a different post office if you have another choice close by.

John used a little annex near his school which we will never do again. Mary the red/blue noodles are on the way along with 30 more baggies of Christmas fabric. I am most annoyed that the other package had a little gift and a book of forever stamps. John called the po and has a trace on the package.

The first noodles I sent were an assortment of fabrics that I had leftover from 2 Christmas quilts I made earlier this summer. The ones I sent out today were also from my stash plus the red I bought for the red.blue swap that I misplaced and had to go and buy more red for that swap ;). I love the red I am going to go get more for a border for a quilt.

ARGGGGGGGGG...back to CW blocks....
