Wow! What an impact of color! My eyes were drawn to the background fabric first then pulled to the star itself. That is mystical! You're going to have a beautiful quilt! ~Abbigail~

Wow Oasis... you are on the ball!!! I need some of your ambition! Way to go and very striking block!

DJ... I would like to change my color scheme to Blue & White now that I have seen the first block... is that okay? I dug out all my blue and whites from my stash! Woohoo! And printed the pattern... now all I gotta do is cut and sew!!!

oh can I join??? the only problem is I am going to start out behind because I am machine less :( for another week or so is all I hope..hmmm I don't know colors but I think scrappy because then I can save $$ for a machine and use my stash

Ok, can the boys play too? This one looks fun. I went a little overboard on the 10 yrd packs. Now I have over 200 yrds of fabric to use. Better make mine scrappy, or maybe "uglies". There were some very strange fabrics in the bundles!

Sure Rick - welcome. As we know "uglies" can turn out pretty afterall. Just look at the "uglies" from the Ugly Fabric Swap.
