I'm baaacckkkk! LOL The thunder storm was nice and brought lots of wind and a teeny bit of rain. So, here's an update to my previous post:

Along with the progress on #3, I was able to spend

1 hour on Licorice Pizza - a little more meandering
1 hour on 30's DP - the piano key border is on all four sides. Yay!

So, the total for today, June 30th is; 4 hours and worked on 3 projects. No finishes, but they're oh so close.

DJ, thanks so much for giving us all a shot in the arm and the cheering section was fabulous! See everyone in the July thing-a-ma-jig.

Erin, I stumped! But it looks beautiful!

I have my disaster quilt top FINISHED! With 1 1/2 hours to spare!!LOL

#1, disaster quilt top, 89 min, FINISHED! I will post picture tomorrow, too tired tonite and DH has to help me, he just got home for teaching, so we both have off tomorrow, so he'll transfer pic from camera to computer, then I'm gettin' pretty good at uploading, but he still sits beside me and helps!

Everyone did a wonderful job, thanks bundles DJ. Tomorrow we get going again, afresh! Good sewing everyone, and thanks for all the encouragement and motivation from everyone. We'll miss you Redtop, keep cheering for us, we have a lot of work to do!

June 30th report

#1 Mapleleaf BOM - 15 min more time making half square triangles
#2 completed
#3 Italy... worked for 4 hours squaring up 126 blocks, putting them into a pleasing pattern and then sewing them into rows... I have about half the rows done and will keep working on them tonight.
#4 Sweden - 15 min sewing another log to the log cabin blocks
#5 Cuba, - made 3 more blocks..15 min

Thanks for a fun time... see you in July... I have had to move some of this months projects into next because I seriously underestimated the time it takes to complete things.. I guess thats what happens to a newbie.
THanks especially to DJ for keeping us going. Redtop I dont think you can be beat you sew all your projects and do all that canning etc you are a bundle of energy that is for sure... everyone is as well..

Congrats to everyone on a great job for June. Bethstreet, not only for newbies, but for oldies, we just don't realize how much time these things take, especially when you have to unsew!!!!!! If we add up all the time we spend on a project, no wonder we're tired at the end of a sewing session. But it feels so great to see the accomplishments! On now to July Jammin' Jamboree. See you all there! HUGS and love to all, carol/kittyquilt
