Thank you DJ they are easy to do when you more. They are so big they are size of my hand. IT beat the small when you buy them in the store.

Yes, Sarah, if it isn't too much trouble, I would love that pattern as well, yours are beautiful.

We have 7 1/2 hours to the finish line, several of us are racing the clock! Let's go girls, finish, finish, finish and then relax and get ready to July 1 and then we have 31 days!!!!!!!!! Love ya all, you're doing so good, keep it up. Anyone think of a way to celebrate end of July yet? Remember, any idea is good, let's put on our thinking caps, how do we celebrate through cyberspace!???? HUGS, carol/kittyquilt

Hi,
The quilt was Granny's Flower Garden - a recent swap here on QIAD. It wasn't the traditional English paper piecing, but a 14" block using strips and squares. I thought it was originally listed at #1?

Guess I'd better post now - looks like we have a mega thunderstorm heading our way.....

#3 - b/w charm #1 - 2 hours. More tying, but not quite a finish... Sigh. LOL Tomorrow is a new day & I'm ready to go!

6-30-08
Project #1--Egg Money 40 minutes I have the 2 sections quilted. They are ready to be sewed together, then add and quilt the border

Project #2-- Dresden Plate- 25 minutes I have 12 more blocks to piece. I'm not for sure what kind of a border I'll use.

Project #3--Bear Paw-30 minutes I got the 2 sections sewed together. I have to finish machine quilting and then add the pieced border which I already have pieced,

Project #4--Granny's Flower Garden-1 1/2 hours I need to machine quilt a very small amount and then do the binding

Project #5--Finished

As you can see I'm not near finished with me 4 projects. We have had a great month and reading everyone's progress, we all have accomplished a great deal. I for one would not have gotten this much completed if DJ hadn't started the sew alongs. Thanks DJ for inspiring us and cheering us on throughout the month. I won't be sewing with you next month, but will be ready in August. Good Luck to each one in July. I'll look forward to seeing everyone's completed projects.
