I just popped in for a second we are going next door for a minute. Our neighbor's daughter (our nice neighbors) is here and she wants to show us photos of her house in Arizona, which just burnt down. She has only been married about 18 months and bought the house last summer. I guess they have been able to get stuff out of the 2nd floor but the 1st floor was a total loss.

HI just checking to see how everyones day went I did go back in and cleaned the sewing room it's not done allthe way but tommrow it will be and Im saying that because I got a little side tracked so here Igo tommrow is another day and I don't care if it'smoms day I want to just finish so Monday when I come home from work I can just start fresh and take it from there so If I don't get a chance I WANT TO WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY MOTHERS DAY.

Hi All. I met with Carol and Carolyn today. As they both mentioned, we met Earlene Fowler and she read part of a chapter from her new book. Can't wait until it comes out next year. Afterwards we went for tea and had a nice chat about quilting. It's so nice to talk to someone who like the same things. Carol brought along her butterfly blocks that are so very cute.

I came home an went through some of my fabric stash to get rid of some pieces I won't ever use. I need to make room for the new fabric coming in next week. Yes I hit the sale last night. I went a little crazy. I ordered about 46 yards of fabric and didn't even realize it. Oh well. If I can't use it, I'm sure I'll find someone who can. I've also been sewing on my "Heart's and Apron Strings" quilt. I almost have the top done. Will be glad to be done with it.

Well I've got to get dinner going. I'll check in a little later. Lori

Well, my day of staying home and looking unkempt got interrupted. I had to shower, blow my hair and put on makeup after all. DH wanted me to go with him to the dealership so he could get his oil changed, then we went to dinner, went to Office Depot for printer ink and wound up getting a new printer. Came home and fed the dogs, went back to Office Depot for printer ink for my printer, and we are finally home. So........maybe tomorrow I'll get that blasted Minkee loaded on the quilting machine. I managed to keep busy today and didn't get back in there to do it. Shame on me. I really shouldn't let fabric intimidate me - LOL. Now we are waiting for the Astros game to come on. They are on the west coast which makes it bad for us. The game doesn't start until 9:10 our time. I'm afraid I'll be asleep before it's over.
