I just saw this pattern on Clotilde and put it on my to-do list. Do you think there would be enough contrast if I used Mary Englebreit fabrics?

I found this Mary assortment today and if I substitute some nice solids for the stripes (which I'm not even going to try and make look as perfect as their stripes)I think it would be really cute. My best friend collects Mary things and this would be really special for her Christmas present.
