Carolyn, it is pretty in Ramona...nice change from wall to wall houses. Our current neighborhood is packed in so tight, there's not even a full 7 feet between houses. We have been fortunate to have nice neighbors, but the breathing room will be a wonderful change. Plus the house we plan to build is larger, so we will have more space indoors and out.

Carole, DH is out of town, so it's just me. I was thinking of heading out to Marie Calendars to get a pie. lol Your Pecan pie sure sounds good.

Hi, I am back for a few minutes. DH and I washed the cars and worked in the yard for 2-1/2 hours. I took my shower and am waiting to go to dinner. I am hungry!

CaroleJ - Enjoy your DH's birthday dinner!

Carolyn - Enjoy dinner with your friend. Looking forward to seeing her in Long Beach.

ME - Sounds like you are finding some real treasures!

I will stop by later.

Carol

I'm going to call it a night. All that cleaning today was work! But well worth it. An hour or two more and it'll be done till I start my next project. I'm so anxious to hear about the class today, and to maybe see the projects they got to do. Hope everyone has a good night, my pj's & slippers are calling to me. Sweet dreams!!

I'm still here, took a break for dinner and now the bedtime rush is starting. I'm in my pj's and slippers already; starting to fade because I was out so late with my friend last night.

I couldn't decide if I wanted the pecan or the cherry pie for dessert so I had a sliver of both! No more snackies for me tonight!

I might stay up for a bit after the girls are in bed and get the other border strips on that UFO. I know I wrote down the dimensions of the comforter when I was planning on making a cover, but they weren't in the bag with the fabrics. Hmmm. Maybe they fell out into the box? The comforter is in storage and I really DON'T want to haul it out to measure it again...I'll have a dig through the box tonight or tomorrow and see if it turns up.

Hi Carin. Hope you are feeling better after your nap. I've just been cleaning and sewing most of the day. Nothing significant. Lori

no one is here so I will finish sewing the buttons in some Sues, watch Monk...and go sign up for the Long Beach class...my friend Betsy will be joining us there....and she loved my Sues and the tea cups from the tea cup swap.

I need to get her on the forum :)
