Lori - I wish I could have met with you as well. SewCarolyn and I had a lot of fun. I will meet you at Bear's Quilt Shop to hear Earlene Fowler in May.

Oh that great. This is the kind of book you just can't put down. I wonder if her next book continues on.

Definitely. I live in Fullerton on the border of Brea. I was just down at Cozy Cottage this afternoon.

I don't think they have anything on the new book yet at the library, because it is only on order. Are you planning on going to the Long Beach Quilt Festival in July? There has been a thread in Chit Chat "I Did It" this week.

I'm probably going to be in Chicago that weekend. Had I known about the quilt show prior, I would have picked different dates for Chicago. Bummer.

Lori - I just looked at the review for Comfort Food and it doesn't continue with the same characters. You can check it out for yourself at http://www.lapl.org'>http://www.lapl.org

Oops!
I meant to add that just do a search for Kate Jacobs and her books will then be listed.

You are really lucky to live so close to two fine quilt shops. I really liked the quilt shops in Brea and Placentia.

I just sent a message to my girlfriend that loaned me the book. I'm sure she'll be interested too. She loves cooking, so that's right up her alley.
