Pat's dishware storagebags

Post by busyhands125 » Tue Apr 01, 2008 10:27 am

Make these a couple of years ago,NO pattern here either. One has the straps going thur the lid. Padding around inside , not as good, but first one.
Second one has dividers inside using the untra light heatnbond and pellon , used in making fabric bowls, One lid and outside it is heatnbond ultra heavy, can not sew thur, very stiff. Also covered the buttons with fabric to match. They both hold cups, stem glassware. Have another one but stored elsewhere and can not get to.
I buy patterns and then never use them, like my own ideas here.
Going to show several pictures, hope you don't mind.

Ditto what Cyber-Sue says - I have a set of good dishes that were given to my Mom by family - over 55 years ago! My Nana got them one piece at a time for Mom & Dad's wedding.... I have almost enough for 2 8-piece settings! Gravy boat and all!

Pat - I wish I could be that talented!

Wow. Love what you did with those. You are very talented to come up with all this without a pattern. I do the same with my ideas but they don't usually come out looking that good. Patterns tend to just confuse me. I need something like that since we travel all over in our motorhome and go to lots of potlucks in the rv parks. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Shirley Mae
