You're in Taunya. Yes, Pam please prewash fabric. Can't wait until you ladies post a picture.

Thanks, DJ

Been wanting to do a CW sampler for a long time, and I love the
brown/blue theme. It'll be done in time to give me a nice birthday
present to myself in August!! Glad to join the team!

Taunya never thought about this color combo before. But after I saw a finished quilt - it was just too stunning for words. Knew I had to have one. And yes, like you said, this is a keeper for myself!!!

DJ, give the Flying Geese block (Dutchman's Puzzle, block 4) to Carin/MAWmum and sign me up for the Grape Basket, block 9.

We decided to do a switch.

I know we are really going to love these blocks.

DJ -
I found a Cream Dot on Cream on the autumn rose quilting website under Decadent Victorian. I am stressing whether or not this is okay. Would you look please? It is on sale but so is a cream solid.

You girls have gotten me so excited. Yesterday, instead of working on one of my other swaps like I had not only planned but needed to do. LOL. I just couldn't resist making a sample Sawtooth Star block. Well, I have 10 done and only stopped because I ran out of brown. Had I known this was going to be a runaway swap, I would not have used this TOT brown for the charm square swap. The blue and cream floral is a Windham fabric called Farmhouse which I got from my friend Nadine's shop, The Fabric Peddler. The brown I didn't keep the salvage but it is from Capitol Quilts another LQS. I luv my cream fabric - you can't tell but it look like lace. How old fashioned is that:o)
