Yipee! The borders are quilted and the binding is machine stitched to the right side of the quilt. Will just have to do the hand sewing when we return. Might even get it in the mail to my grandson tomorrow. It's a quilt for an auction to raise funds for his youth group to go on an ASP (Appalachian Service Project) trip this summer. I promised him a quilt for each year he goes (through his high school years).

Have a nice afternoon all!!

Tulpje - Concentrate on the positive!!

Love to all,

Not sure if anyone is still here. I am quilting for the rest of the afternoon. Working on a charity quilt and getting ready for quilt camp next weekend. Have to decide what projects to take.

It is a sunny wonderful day here in AZ. We are going to have a cookout for dinner. Spring is here.:)

I have a question for you. A friend gave me several woolly nylon thread in various colors. What do you use it for? Can I quilt with it? I really have no idea what to do with it.

Carole, I'm not sure but I think the wooly nyon is usually used on the serger.......At least that where I used to use it and my friend still does.....

Hope everyone is having a good Easter. Just got back from my SIL's for a wonderful meal and ate way too much. Don't have to worry about supper now. And, she showed me some remodeling that they're doing in their basement and she has a treadle Singer machine in it's cabinet. She's not sure what she wants to do with it. So, I offered her a quilt in whatever colors & pattern she wants in trade. And, she's seriously considering that.........I would be so thrilled. Not sure what the machine looks like yet, but I can wait to see. Does that sound like a fair trade?

Susanna......That is an EXCELLENT idea for Jeff to have the decoy wallet. He might want to think about one of those travel wallets that are everywhere for passports and keep everything around his neck and under his shirt and tie (I'm assuming he is dressed for business). They will take anything he owns if given the chance from what I've heard about India.

Definitely DON'T DRINK ANYTHING that he doesn't open HIMSELF!!!!!

What a beautiful day for quilting. . . . I just made up my 3 blue/yellow May Lotto Blocks that Caroline announced this morning. The breeze coming in the window is heavenly. My little Furbaby, Sophie, is acting very lethargic, I probably should call the Vet in the morning. She won't jump and run like she should be. Looks a little bloated also. Probably ate a bug or something. Oh well, I think I'll go and watch "Enchanted" on pay-per-view. Heard it is really cute.

Have a nice day everyone, Spring and Summer is on its way (but so is Christmas!). LOL
Have Fun,

mequilter - YES, that is a very fair trade. My aunt in northern Wisconsin ahd the treadle machine that belonged to my grandmother. I am SURE that the trim was gold! I so wish I could have gotten it. Enjoy your machine when you get it. The ones I look at are in such bad shape ~~~

OOOHHHH! _ I finally got to do some work for me. I got my charms cut for a swap that I am doing. Finally, I get to play with fabric! YIPPEE - SkIPPEE!!

AND it just started snowing. Where is SPRING ?

Tul, it is wonderful that you got to get out and do some shopping. I hope you are feeling better and better each day.

Carole - Walmart has rotary cutter blades.

We went to church this morning then out to lunch. Came home and took a nap. I'm quilting on one of the twins quilts today on and off and doing laundry. Feeling really lethargic since I got up from my nap. Ho-hum! Energy level is '0'. I have a feeling that my energy will return about 10 PM when it's time to go to bed.
