Re: I finally finished my Sampler quilt!!
Sorry Pat, just don't have the time to make you one, ha ha. I have so many WIP to finish. I am just now working on a special wall hanging for my DH for our anniversary LAST year in March! Oops! Thanks so much for your compliments, much appreciated.
Hi Stormy, Would you believe I almost left the piano key border OFF? I was at a point of wanting to just get it done and I so little left in those fabrics to do so. In fact, after completing that border, I had ONE piece of fabric left no larger than a piano key itself. Talk about coming down to the wire! Thank you too, for your compliments.
To Nancy, Carin and gardenquilter, I am SO encouraged by everyone's compliments here. Hope you all know how much I appreciate you taking the time to look and reply so kindly.
Blessings,
Karla

Karla ... I've been sitting here for the last ten minutes trying to catch my breath because that is absolutely stunning!!!
Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine myself doing something that beautiful. Your sister must have been over the moon when she saw it.

Thanks so much Sarah,
I really appreciate your compliment. There were times I wasn't sure I'd be able to finish it, but I did!! Whatever project you may be working on, be sure to hang in there, it's so worth it!!
Happy quilting,
Karla

Hi Marcia,
Like those hats, do ya? Too funny! What'll you see the boot block that DH designed, in progress of course. It'll be a while before I can that lap quilt together.
Anyway, your generous compliments just mean the world to me! I really thought I'd bitten off more than I could chew here. I'm really glad I saw it through. The more compliments I receive the more I realize I really did a neat thing here. I'm still such a novice.. Thanks again.
Blessings,
Karla

I love your quilt. It is beautiful. Samplers are great as they don't get boring to make. Your sister should be thrilled to receive this quilt. What a nice gift.
