Re: Saturday March 22 Sew-In
HI EVERYONE!!! I thought I'd pop in and say hello. Things have been quiet here all day. It's supposed to be in the upper 20's by morning. Is spring ever going to get here???
I'm working the SBS swap. When they are finished I'll be starting on the flower swap. It should go fast, if I can get the block the correct size.

Hi redtop, Welcome to our little group tonight. It is very quiet here tonight. Must be the holiday - everyone is busy getting ready for tomorrow or sleeping by now.

My sewing room is in the unfinished basement...not much of a sewing room is it. I plan on giving it to a coworker of mine for her birthday.

How nice of you! I know she will absolutely love it. She is one lucky friend! When I was first starting out my sewing room was also in an unfinished basement. My table was an unfinished door that my DH put legs on and he hung a light directly over this table. I got a lot of sewing done on that door. Now, we live in AZ - no basement, but moved my laundy room out to the garage and my sewing room was my laundry room. I wish it were bigger - but I love it.

Actually I love the basement. I have a nice table that I got when I use to work for the JC Penney Co...the store closed, and I purchased it for about nothing.
I hope she'll enjoy the wall hanging, it's for her office.

Are you kidding me -- she will love it!!! Not too many people have either the talent or desire to make such a wonderful gift. Sue wish I could see it.

I'll post a picture of it when I get it completed, probably on Monday, since we don't have school. Her birthday isn't until June, but I have to have time to get it to the quilt.
