not yet.... I sort of live in hickville.... it usually takes an extra day to send or receive mail of any kind.... and if the mail jeep breaks down you may not get mail that day.... life in the country....

it will probably be here tomorrow.... I will get it in the mail by tuesday at the latest..... Chriss

the box is here ! we are going camping this weekend and I will either look in it Sunday or monday and get it in the mail by tuesday at the latest....I did open it and you almost need a forklift to lift it up...it is about half and half fabric and patterns.... once I touch all the fabric I will get it re-packed and moving...

Well, I found some goodies.. and future DIL was here and found a couple too... so I added a few more things to make up for it.

I took from Abbigail / Brenda
the Quilters how to books
pillow panels--- ducks, pheasants etc
blue fat quarter
and the blue print fabric

From Anne in SC I took the hummingbird pattern... so so cute

From Sharonmamaw I took the child life pattern

From Beth I took the QIAD book and fish fabric

and from Tracy I took the tool fabric and sunbonet sue fabric...

I added patterns, a few notions, some 2 1/2 inch squares... lots of them....a small iron, some Rooster panels, and some quilting lady panels... (DJ, I almost took the rooster pattern but left it for you, hope you enjoy it )

I am hoping I added enough for what I took... I have more to add but it wouldn't fit....

The box will go in monday's mail.... luckily my son was here and held it closed while I taped it shut....

Oh, Abbigail, you were so right, and now you couldn't even put a safety pin in it, it is just bulging.... it weighed 14 pounds today when I sent it off... I have confirmation number 0308-1400-0000-3462-6636. and for only $2.15 I added $100 in insurance... so, if it gets lost we will each get about $6.00 or so... that's just over 2 fat quarters... can't wait till round two... woo hoo....

DJ, you may want to rent a forklift.... lol.... hope you enjoy it....

The guy from the mailroom arrived with the box. He handed it to me and I promptly dropped it on the floor. I couldn't believe how heavy it was. OMG - it is more than packed to the hilt. It acually could have gone in a bigger box. Unfortunately, I can't open it until I finish some REAL work. Dang!!!

Okay - I figured out why the box is so full and so heavy. We went from the small priority mail box to the large priority mail box. LOL. I've checked out the goodies and their were soooo many, it was hard to choose. I still felt like I was being very greedy, but here's what I took:

From Brenda - a thumb pin cushion (never seen one of those before), bobbin savers, mini rotary cutting mat, patterns (Just Can't Cut It, Strip Tease, Tossed Nine-Patch). Jan - left the leather thimble holder for you.

From Chriss: a bag of 2.5" squares, the mini iron, rooster panels, a beautiful landscape panel, a panel with houses and sewing notions (will be using them to help make rows for 2 ladies in the row round robin swap)

From Beth: 2 oriental FQs (one with flowers and the other with fish)

From Anne in SC: a rooster pattern, a ziplock with 1 1/3 yards of blue and black geometric, and a oriental FQ with fish.

From Squeelquilter: 2 FQs (one with blue and green geometrics and one with houses - again might need the one with houses for a row in the row round robin swap).

There are no more roosters in the box. LOL. Now this sounds like alot and it is but the box is still full to the top. But since I took out alot of fabric, I'll add as much fabric as I push into the box. Everything I put in was box was gone except two FQs. Wasn't surprised about one (LOL) but the other I was. I luv that oriental bamboo - it was very expensive Michael Miller fabric. So since we have new ladies on the list, I left that one in the box.
