I DID IT

Post by lorettav » Thu Mar 20, 2008 12:16 pm

My first embroidery from my machine.

It was not an easy thing. I did not know you had to have the sewing machine hooked up to the computer so I lugged the sewing machine up stairs and then I realized something wasen't right. I thought it stored the images in the sewing machine. So back downstairs to the computer. Had to put a table beside the computer so I could use it.

Looks like I'm gona have to have a laptop so I can have it upstairs with my other machine. DH says No Way.

Great job. You will have fun with the embroidery machine. If you find the embroidery "puckering" place a piece of stabilizer on the top. Just float it, don't put it in the frame. Works wonders. Wish I had known this before I did a quilt for a friend's daughter. Oh well, next time.

Be sure and share more when you get it done.

Hugs, Bobbi

That looks great! As soon as you start cranking out pretty things and have your stuff all over the downstairs computer - maybe your DH will bend a little on a laptop. Just a thought :).

Gorgeous! Now you can use that as the center for a new quilt.

I have an idea: every day ask you DH to please "lug" the sewing machine upstairs so you can sew then ask him to please "lug" it downstairs so you can do a quick embroidery, then ask him to please "lug" it upstairs so you can finish your project. Believe me, after a few days of that and you'll get your laptop! LOL

Try to do this with a straight face and no laughing!

Have Fun,

I have seen the machines in the stores and they look so inviting! What fun!
