Ann, it's same as Carolyn. I'm still thinking about it and don't want to get overloaded. I don't say no. I would love to do it.

Please do not stress over committing to this swap. There is no sign up deadline and you can join in at any time if you like. I understand about being over loaded with things to do and I don't want anyone to think they can not join just because there was a deadline for sign up.

Ihope that you ladies can join us whenever you are not so busy.

I made a crazy quilt style Christmas stocking a couple years ago for a Christmas Stocking Swap (you had to make and fill a stocking). I had so much fun making it. I don't embroider or have an embroidery machine but I used different laces, embellishments, and buttons. The girl who got it luvs pink so I used CW pinks and cream. I understand it is still up over her bed - her husband reminds her regularly that Christmas is over. That was a nice compliment. I made one to keep - I've been trying to locate it so I can post a pic.

I've been wanting to do a crazy quilt for awhile now. I'm gonna play with a block this weekend and see how it turns out. Ann, I'll check with you next week.

Sign me up. Are we keeping with any particular color(s)?

Personally, I would rather stay away from batiks and super bright colors. I think calicos, 1930s reproductions, Civil War type fabrics, etc., would be good. What does everyone else think?

Good question. I've been thinking about how well the blocks will go together if they are all so different. If there is a theme, like 30's or something, that would be cool. On the other hand, using scraps is cool, too. Amie
