Jan and Jan thanks for letting me know they arrived. They are beautiful - arn't they? I'm always so amazed how nice a block can look after picking just the right fabric. Florals did this block well. They truly look like a garden. Well duh - that's why its called Granny's Flower Garden. LOL.

Ladies - the other blocks have been sorted and are being mailed tomorrow morning. It is pouring down raining here and I just didn't want to risk getting the packages wet (I'm on public transpo into the office.) However, I want to thank you ladies sooooo much for making my first swap so easy. Wow, we were so on schedule. Thank you again.

My blocks have not been located as of yet. Who knows where they may be. I realize it is too late for the exchange, but,it is the hours of workmanship that cannot be replaced. This is not the normal service we have from UPS. Generally they get something delivered long before the Post Office is able to deliver. However,on a good note: I got lots of practice, and enjoyed picking out the fabric and sewing the blocks. Making the blocks for the exchange encouraged me to make more blocks to finish a quilt when they arrive. All I need now is to make some more to replace those that did not make it there. The pattern was a breeze. I will use it again. And I feel inspired to sew more.....Better luck next time. So, all in all - I did accomplish a lot after all.

I was responding to you over on the bow tie site, and through your personal email site... I know you have had some personal sadness and Im sure you may have forgotten... I hope things are better now... I see from my delivery confirmation that a delivery was attempted last saturday and was delivered monday... I sent them out last wed... I got called in to jury duty on the spur of the moment literally on tues afternoon when I planned to go to the post office... big big case here and they are going through 100's of jurors at a time.
Sorry, hope you left some out for me..

Beth - I got yours and they were swapped out with the remaining group. I didn't forget - you posted the message with the Bow Ties and I went through this thread for a note from you. Also, all my swaps end during the week when there is someone home to receive the packages. LOL - on Saturdays my DGSs and I hang out for a little fun.

Natnotes - I waited until last night to finish swapping out hoping yours would arrive. If they come today, I still have time because the final group are going in the mail tomorrow. Lets keep our fingers crossed that they show today. If not, when and if they arrive at my house - I'll swap you some of mine. Not a problem - I want everyone to be happy!!!

Good Morning,
Rec'd the beautiful flowers in the mail yesterday. Thank you so much, everyone! I've already started to "plant" the flowers in different arrangements. These will go with me on the quilting retreat in a few weeks.

Thanks again,
Deanne

Good morning. Thanks Redtop and Deanne for letting me know the flowers arrived.

Ladies one of your packages has an extra 12 flowers. DH was helping me sort (that's what he called it) and one set of my flowers somehow got mailed out. I believe I know which package, I need to find my USPS receipt because I had to add $2.65 postage to one of the packages so most likely its that one. Let know so I can send you the postage to mail them back. Thanks!!!

Thanks for letting me know Carol.

Beth - I will have to mail your blocks back on Saturday. You sent a check instead of postage and I can only get to the PO for postage on Saturdays.
