Re: Granny's Flower Garden. COMPLETE.
Well, I'm finally just about ready to start on the swap. As soon as I get the fabric washed, I'll get started.
Sarah, how did you get your blocks completed so fast?? They are beautiful. I like your fur buddy too.
Craftin, thanks for starting this swap. I had never seen this pattern, it's simple and makes a very pretty quilt. This would make a nice Christmas gift for my dear mother.
Enjoy girls, this swap is a good one.

Are we going to keep it at 20 people or go to more if there is more interest?

Am so glad to see a few more persons joining this wonderful swap. I have my fabric cut just need to spend some time at the machine.
Sarah- 12 hrs. a day. WOW! My shoulders and back would be killing me! LOL I think it's wonderful that you are able to do that.
Maryq- I'm using my noodles from the exchange also! Saves time on the cutting!

Wow ladies, you girls are making me very happy. I never anticipated so much interest in this swap.
Michelle - I think as long as people can get them in by the deadline -the more the merrier.
Ladies, don't forget to post pics if you have finished a flower.
Redtop - you gave me an idea. Wonder what these would look like in Christmas fabrics. Hmmmmmmmm. We could chose a background color but the flower could be in any Christmas print. Ohhhhhhhhh. Let's keep this in mind. I'll make up a few and run it past you girls around October.

Ok...I think I need to do this after all. Put me down for 2 sets.
Another question...are the fabrics washed or not? Also for the ladies who have finished a block or two and came out with the right block measurement, did you use a scant 1/4 inch or just a 1/4 inch seam? Any help before I get started on this would be appreciated!

That's right Sarah. Sarah let me tell you again how pretty your flowers are. I just keep going back and looking at them. I can just see them in my quilt.
Hi Sandy - I'm glad you finally decided to try the waters. LOL. Yes, please wash your fabrics. Some girls used a 1/4" and some used a scant 1/4". Quilterbee and Sarah used a index card to come up with the exact placement. Sarah put pics down below for each step. You could check with them.
