Michelle, I can't wait to check out the photos. I only live about 1.5 hours from the bay area so maybe next time there is a shop hop those of us who live close should see about meeting up somewhere along the way and hop together. Are you working on anything tonight or relaxing? Debi

Michelle, I just saw the pictures and posted there too but just couldn't wait to tell you.........You did great. I was so surprised to see that one of your stops was in Oakdale. I grew up there and had no idea there was a quilt shop there now. I still have family in the Modesto area and they sew alot and want to start quilting so a trip is in order for sure. Debi

Hi Debi,

I'm busy cutting out my batik fabric. It's great after all the looking and shopping to do some real work? The quilt shop in Oakdale is very cute and the owners were very friendly. the log cabin is cool:)I am game for a meetup and shop hop. Anytime. LOL

Michelle, I am game if you are for our own little mini shop hop and the list of shops participating in the "to the nines" is pretty good too. I know that chico is a long way to go but........... :) Debi

Hey all, I've been hiding from the addicting computer and cutting out squares... I've got those ready to sew now, so I can probably chat for a bit.

Bad Debi! Challenging me like that. LOL I can't say no. I haven't been to any of those shops at all. I could definitely do Friday and Saturday of that hop.

6Kids,

I have a friend whose son was just posted to the Air Force Base in Alaska. I've been be there myself but we are thinking of cruising there.

Ohh, fun, I'm envious, I don't get to do those touristy thing's 'cause I live here. :) My dad was in Air Force, that's how he got here originally. -Anna
