Cathy.......I'm working on the sashing for the Packer autograph quilt. Should be able to put it together by tomorrow morning, then need to decide on what to do for the borders.

mawmum ...nighty night. Get nice and cozy and sleep tight.

YES it is cold for Florida. We are north central, and knew it got cool but this year it has been darn right cold! Even had frost a few times. Heck I could have stayed in NY. Well, maybe not, at least we haven't had snow. I do miss snow some times. But hubby couldn't take it any longer.

Seems pretty quiet here tonight. I'm going to head out too. I'm usually in bed by 10 and it is later. I've enjoyed being on tonight. I hope not to be such a stranger.

6kids...Alaska must be real cold. Bet that is why you have almost 6! Trying to stay warm and see what happens.

Night all
Kathy

Ok, I'll post before I go, here's what I have so far, this is a fun pattern, when using light & dark it looks like circles in your finished quilt... Anna

I forgot the part that you have to trim 1/8" off the double pieces... re-learning as I go... time consuming, definately not QIAD style, but a fun pattern...

Hi Ladies,

First time that I have joined a sew in here. I am working on the Flower Basket from Applique In A Day. Wow, this is really time consuming. But it will be worth all the time spent when it is finally done. Hopefully before I die. I am doing a block a week right along with El's program on Direct TV.

It was in the high 70's her AZ today - lots of sun. I use to live in Michigan and New Jersey - so I know what it is like to have snow. My husband and I retired here in AZ.

Well back to appliqueing!

I am still here. Seems like everyone went to bed and left us alone.

Hi all, back from taking DD to work and having a surprise dinner out with DH. He knew I had a ton of sewing I wanted to do this evening and that I would be chatting with all of you and wouldn't want to cook so out we went. My last post was way back on page 6 I think so I have some catching up to do. I think I am going to start on my SBS I am very excited about them!! What I am thinking of doing is taking scraps from DD rainbow formals, most were cotton and use them for the SBS dresses and bonnets. What fun it will be to remember each dress and event but not have to keep all the formals. Debi
