Received beautiful charms from patsyann06 today!

I will not be posting again until Wednesday - leaving for Paducah tomorrow morning at o'dark thirty!

Got home this afternoon. There were two packages that came in while we were gone.

Checkers and donnacrazylady your charms are very pretty! I'm covered in georgeous flowers! And the best part is that I don't have to water them! We will have a fabric flower garden!

Just received some beautiful Asian flowers from BethStreet!

Is everybody finding fabric okay? Remember to have fun and not stress over it!

Remember, if you can't make the deadline let me know. We all understand if something unexpected comes up and you find you can't participate. Life happens.

You have until May 15th to get the charms to me. Still plenty of time.

I'm enjoying looking at all the beautiful charms as they come in! No duplicates so far - we will have a very nice variety of flowers!

I've thought of a neat goodie/project bag to send to everyone. But I'm not telling exactly what it is. You'll have to wait an see! LOL

I will mail mine on Monday. I have a question about the postage, since it will be going up and since you have to take them in to the po to mail can we send you extra stamps which can be added if needed, or do you want us to just trust that the PO will tell us the correct amount to affix?

Try asking the PO what the postage will be. They should know by now.

I've noticed some just added extra stamps.

Hi Evie, gotta a question. All of the floral that I have is spring/summer-y florals, no dark florals. It's hard to find dark florals this time of year. What should I do? Amie )

As long as they do not read as white or very light from a distance, I think they would be pretty. Put your fabric up next to some white muslin and see how it looks.

It's just that if you do the Summer Porch quilt and use white for the lattice, you don't want the "triangles" to blend into the lattice. But, they can be spring, summer, fall or even winter colors. I've received quite a few of each.

We will all have a beautiful flower garden when we are done!

If you are still in doubt, post a picture. But, it sounds like you have some pretty fabric.

I have had trouble finding dark florals too. I have another shop to go check out tomorrow. Dark floral, would deep navy work?
