tho green is not one of my fave colors.. I LOVE the green print of the top of the picture for the backing. It just looks so rich to me! and blends so well, I think, with the green on the front!! It's all gorgoeous!!

Like both fabrics. Polka dots more casual, and picks up on polka dots on the front (very pretty); green is more formal, I agree. But color is very appropriate and it makes a nice change.

If all else fails, just close your eyes and spin around three times and wherever your hand touches first, use that one.

Gorgeous quilt colors and pattern! I really think either fabric would work for the backing. So the question is: Which fabric is saying, "Pick me! Pick me!!!!" Go with the fabric that speaks to you! *grin*

Thanks all - I think I'm going w/the top or formal fabric. This quilt is for my best friend and she'll be able to spin it either way depending on the mood of the day!

Very nice. I like the combination of colors. I'd take the green on the 2nd pictures. Show us a picture when it will be finished!

Love your colors, always did like pink and brown together.. I would prefer the green material for the backing. make it rich looking.. that is my choice.. why don't you lay it out and walk away and look again. I think you will pick the first one the green.... thats my opinion. It is beautiful and such good work.. I do handquilting so reccomend the cotton material I think it would be easier to quilt
