Teaching

Post by burdickland »

I'm just wondering if anyone knows if Eleanor has a system for training teachers in using her methods for quilting?

I've seen references to Quilt in a Day Certified Instructors, but I can't seem to find any reference on how to become one.

Hi burdickland,
The answer is yes and no. Eleanor used to offer Certified Teacher Training classes twice a year, up until 2006. I was fortunate enough to be in the final class. Her travel schedule, TV show production, and writing her books has really taken over most of her time. In addition to that, she now has a baby granddaughter and all work comes to a screeching halt when she is around. I don't know if, in the future, Eleanor will offer the classes again or not. You can be sure that if they are offered, this Forum is the first place they will be announced.

That would be so cool. I would be interested if she starts up again. Lori
